From the moment this gorgeous mama called me to book her session I knew that this was going to be a special family photo-shoot. This wonderful family got their hair and makeup done by my good friends Hello Gorgeous, which is right across the street from my studio in Middletown, Maryland. Having never been to this location I had no idea what to expect, but once I arrived at Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue I knew this was going to be an epic family photography session.
We were greeted by Claire. She took us to meet Harlem, who formerly worked as a carriage horse in NYC and now serves a the horse farms ambassador. He was so sweet and good natured and put us all right at ease. Claire took us to several different locations on the farm. We were all grateful to have the chance to hop in the car for a bit and worm up because it was super cold and blustery. We were about to wrap up and I saw the gorgeous sunset and knew we had to get some pictures of these beautiful sisters in that lovely golden light.
