The Perfect Spot for Your Newborn Session — and a Treat Afterward!

As a Maryland newborn photographer one of the things I love most about my studio’s location in Downtown Frederick is that it’s surrounded by some truly amazing local gems. My studio is tucked right along Carroll Creek at 103 S. Carroll Street, Suite 2B — just steps away from some of the best food and coffee Frederick has to offer.

If you’ve ever been to Twin Bears Bakery, you know it’s impossible to resist their pastries — but the real star of the show is their bagels. I’m convinced they’re the best in Frederick (maybe anywhere!), and it’s now a running joke that I’m required to bring home a bag of bagels every time I visit the studio. The smell of fresh bread drifting down the the street on the way to the studio is both a blessing and a delicious distraction!

And because I love sharing a bit of that local magic, my newborn clients receive a few special treats from Twin Bears Bakery as part of their session experience. It’s my way of adding an extra touch of sweetness to your visit — and supporting one of my favorite local businesses at the same time.

Just around the corner, Frederick Soups & Comfort Foods boasts the highest restaurant ratings in Frederick, and it’s easy to see why. Their menu is full of cozy, homemade favorites — and their soups are to die for. It’s the perfect place to grab lunch before or after your session, especially on a cool day.

I love that families who visit my studio can turn their session into a little downtown adventure — a stroll along Carroll Creek, an incredible bagel or bowl of soup, and the timeless experience of capturing those first precious moments with your baby.
