Maryland Newborn and Sibling Photography: Welcoming Back Past Clients

I have been photographing newborns in my Maryland photography studio for 13 years. There’s a unique kind of joy in this work that’s hard to put into words—but last month, I felt it four times over.

I had the incredible honor of welcoming back four families whose toddlers I photographed as newborns. This time, they were bringing in their new babies—and watching those now-big siblings proudly snuggle their new brothers and sisters was truly heart-melting. These full-circle sessions are what I live for.

It’s always so special to see those tiny newborns I once wrapped and posed now walking, talking, and showing off their toddler (and sometimes wild toddler) personalities. And as a photographer with years of experience working with both newborns and toddlers, and also a mom myself, I come prepared for everything—from the shy sibling to the wild one! My goal is always to get those sweet sibling shots parents dream of, while making sure every session is calm, safe, and enjoyable for everyone—especially the baby.

Safety is always my top priority, particularly when toddlers are involved. I take great care to ensure that baby is supported and protected at all times, while still capturing the genuine connection between siblings.
